Following closely behind, the Doug Pool team with a 59 was 2nd and Norm Mankins team at even par was 3rd. Prize money for the skins pot was distributed among four teams. We have implemented our plan to increase the compliance of our HONOR SYSTEM of paying for green/trail fees when the clubhouse is unattended. The Honor System envelopes have been changed to make it easier to identify those who are less than honest. All those using the Honor System must fill out the info requested on each envelope and place the appropriate amount of money in said envelope. The envelope will then be sealed and deposited in the slot above the scorecard/envelope box. Golfers will find a receipt enclosed in the envelope as a means of proof of payment. Please keep receipt with you during your play that day. Ignorance of the need to pay before you play is not a valid excuse. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE HONOR SYSTEM RULES COULD RESULT IN: EMBARASSMENT, EVICTION FROM THE COURSE, AND POSSIBLY WORSE! The Golf Club Thanks you for your anticipated honesty.
We have also implemented the use of a Course Ranger at various times and days. He is checking for those who have not paid their green fees and /or trail fee for non member carts. He also monitors the course for groups of golfers in excess of 4 and divides them (if the need arises) as conditions dictate. We have attempted to make the Club rules more visible (new signs, on the score cards, etc.). Remember the $ 4.00 non member cart fee, starting your round on hole #1, and signing in if the clubhouse is open. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
The GOLF CLUB Clubhouse rental is $100, payable at time of reservation. $50 + $50 deposit (refundable if clubhouse left in good condition). This is not an increase in the cost, but rather a way to recoup damages or cleanup costs caused by renting party. The Golf Clubhouse is available for rental all year long. Keep us in mind for parties, family reunions, holiday events, etc.
