The election for the 2009 Golf Club Officers was held at the September 10, 2008 meeting. The nominations were as follows:
Donald Franz – for President
Sam Brown – for Vice President
Norm Mankins - for Treasurer
Gary Schmucker – for Secretary
All nominations were carried by unanimous vote.
Past Secretary, Gary Willen, did not seek the nomination, however, has been appointed along with Ron Lewis, to the executive board.
The men’s championship was held Sept. 27, 2008. The winner of Flight A was Norm Mankins ; Flight B was Pat Nelson and Flight C was Don Franz.
The women’s championship was held September 27, 2008. The winner of Flight A was Nancy Mankins; Flight B was Maryann Campitelli and Flight C was Marge Brown.
The over 70 division winner was Don Gamersfelder.
The Golf Club Banquet will be held October 21st at 6:30 p.m. at Great Trail Golf Course, cost is $15.00 per person. You may RSVP to Sam Brown at 330-863-0181 or Norm Mankins at 330-863-1251.
The next Golf Club meeting will be Wednesday, October 8th at the Club House at 6:00 p.m.
